The New Year seems to be one of filmi wedding, as many stars of B-town are expected to solemnise their relationships in 2012. And if you believe in the doomsday prophecy of the world drawing to a close in the new year, it’s not a bad idea that our stars get hitched before all comes to a crashing end. Here’s a look at the big fat Bollywood wedding on the card in 2012…

Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor: This superstar couple, fondly called 'Saifeena' is considered to be Bollywood’s equivalent to the famous Hollywood power pair Brangelina. Reams of print and hours of television coverage have been devoted to this starry association. So much that even the average eight-year-old knows about their love story. Kareena fell for Saif when he proposed to her on the sets of Vishal Bhardwaj’s Omkara in 2005. Troubles were already brewing in Kareena’s previous relationship with young Shahid Kapoor and that drew Kareena closer to a more ‘mature’ Saif. Though always open about their romantic association, the pair announced their marriage plans only recently. Saifeena will walk down the aisle in 2012, right after the release of Agent Vinod, it is said!
