Cola company wants Akshay Kumar Back

Akshay Kumar string of flops ad affected his endorsements as well. Last year, the actor was dropped from several shows, including Khatron Ke Khiladi in which he was replaced by Priyanka Chopra, and this year, the he had lost the Thums Up ad which he had endorsed for many years.

For over eight years Akshay’s gravity defying stunts had been the USP of its action-fuelled commercials.

With his films like Khatta Meetha, Action Replayy, Tees Maar Khan and Patiala House bombing, the cola brand decided to replace the Desi Boyz actor with Kingfisher model Angela Jonsson.

However, nothing succeeds like success. With the turn of his wheel of fortune, the same company is back knowcking on his doors and are also offering him a higher fee than the last time. It is learnt that as against the Rs 2.25 crore per day that the actor was paid earlier, the brand is willing to pay him R 3.5 crore per day now.
